Andray Blatche and Other Celebrities Give Back in Jamaica

The 13th annual RuJohn Foundation’s Annual Celebrity Sports Camp, sponsored by Wata, united renowned athletes, actors and celebrities alike with students from local secondary schools in Kingston, Jamaica.

Students exercised their basketball skills with the Brooklyn Nets’ Andray Blatche and improvised with Robert Ri’Chard from Coach Carter and Jaleel White, who played the memorable Steve Urkel on Family Matters.

The RuJohn Foundation affords underprivileged youth in Jamaica and the United States with the tools to have the best education possible. Physically, the foundation has provided school supplies, educational scholarships and lunch programs. They also offer relief for youth affected by natural disasters.

Darius Butler, who is a corner back for the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts, was also among athletes who spent their weekend mentoring young men and women.
